Accessibility statement for dennestranda.no
Last updated: 28 October 2015
Denne Stranda wants as many people as possible to be able to use our website. We work to make dennestranda.no accessible to everyone, whatever their abilities and technical set-up.
Our goal for universal design
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at level AA. As a private company we are not required to do so by law, but we believe everyone should be able to access the information and opportunities we present about Stranda as a place to live and work.
What we have done
The website has been built with accessibility in mind, including:
- Semantic HTML that gives screen readers a clear structure
- Keyboard navigation, so you can get around without a mouse
- Contrast between text and background that meets WCAG requirements
- Alternative text on images where relevant
- Responsive design that works on different screen sizes
- Clear language that is easy to understand
Known limitations
We work continuously to improve accessibility on the website. Even so, some content may not be fully accessible yet:
- Third-party content embedded on the site may have varying levels of accessibility
