Denne Stranda AS is a development company working to make people want to live and create here — to make Stranda an attractive place for those who live here and those who want to move here.
The company was set up when the business community and Stranda municipality joined forces to create a shared driving force for development in the municipality.
We aim to be a strong and visible engine that connects resources, people and ideas. We work across the business community, the municipality and the local community to create development, but also to show all the good things that already exist in Stranda. We want to highlight the jobs, the services, the meeting places and the opportunities in our villages, and help more people see what Stranda has to offer.

Denne Stranda helps turn good ideas and real needs into action. We are a connector and driving force that brings together businesses, the municipality, organisations and others, starts new collaborations and helps move development forward.
We are a small organisation, and we cannot — and should not — do everything on our own. Our role is often to connect the right people and resources, highlight opportunities and give good initiatives momentum. Some things we do ourselves, while others come about together with the business community, the municipality or other partners.
At the same time, development is not only about creating something new. An important part of our work is to show and highlight what is already here — the jobs, the services, the skills, the initiatives and the opportunities in our villages. In this way we want to build more local pride and make it easier for more people to see what Stranda has to offer. Our strategy puts particular weight on strengthening the Stranda brand.
