Our projects and commitments

Denne Stranda runs projects and initiatives that make Stranda a good place to live, work, run a business and build something new. Some things we do ourselves, others we develop together with the business community, the municipality and other partners.

Our work ranges from recruitment and business development to skills, meeting places, visibility and the development of our villages.

A shared recruitment portal

We have built a shared recruitment portal for the business community in Stranda municipality, gathering vacancies in one place and showing the jobs and careers you can find here.

A shared housing portal

We have built a shared housing portal for Stranda municipality, where you can find and list homes and plots for sale or rent – and post an advert if you are looking to rent.

A cowork in Stranda

We are working to develop and open a cowork in Stranda centre; a place to work alongside others, build networks, collaborate and become part of a community of forward-looking people.

hoppid office

Denne Stranda is the hoppid office in Stranda municipality and offers free guidance if you want to start your own business or develop a business idea.

The Business Garden Programme

We are a node in the Business Garden Programme through Nordveggen, helping more local companies pick up speed in their development work.

Studiesenter Sunnmøre

We take part in the collaboration to establish Studiesenter Sunnmøre, working to make education and skills development more accessible for people and businesses in Sunnmøre.

Recruitment fairs

We attend recruitment fairs and meeting places such as BLI MED HIT to showcase Stranda, local employers and the opportunities to live and work here.

Branding and marketing of Stranda

We work continuously to build the Stranda brand and show our villages as an attractive place to live and work.

An information channel for Stranda

We develop Denne Stranda's channels to gather, highlight and share information about jobs, housing, business, activities, events and opportunities in the municipality.

Teknologifestivalen

We sit on the organising committee for Teknologifestivalen in Sykkylven and help out behind the scenes, from planning and marketing to development and delivery. Working across municipal borders matters if we want strong meeting places and growth in the region.

Stranda vidaregåande skule

We are part of the working group for Stranda vidaregåande skule, the local upper secondary school, which has campaigned politically to secure the school's future. We continue to contribute to its development, aiming for a strong, forward-looking school that meets the needs of both young people and local businesses.

Meeting places for the business community

We host meeting places for the business community, such as breakfast meetings, seminars and other professional gatherings, to support skills development, networking and collaboration across companies and industries.
