Denne Stranda has a new member on the board. Katrin Blomvik Bakken joins as a board member, taking over from Sindre Mjelva, who is stepping down.
Katrin is director of Norsk Fjordsenter in Geiranger (Geiranger Verdsarvfjord), and she is a driving force in the local community in Geiranger, both through her job and privately. She cares deeply about the village and the people who live there, and she brings broad experience from work with development, cooperation and value creation.
We are delighted to have Katrin on the team, and we look forward to bringing her experience and commitment into the board's work and the further development of Denne Stranda.
At the same time, we want to thank Sindre Mjelva warmly for the good work he has done on the board. As hotel owner at Hotel Union Geiranger, Sindre has long and broad experience as a business leader, from a company with a strong position locally, nationally and internationally. Sindre has contributed valuable local knowledge and a strong commitment to the development of Geiranger and Stranda municipality.
We greatly appreciate the commitment, experience and time Sindre has put into the board, and we thank him for a good partnership.
Denne Stranda is owned by local businesses and Stranda municipality, and the board therefore plays an important part in developing the company and making people want to live and create across the whole of Stranda municipality.
