Do you have a business idea, a dream of starting something of your own, or are you already setting up a company? Now you can drop by Denne Stranda for help along the way.
From November 2025, Denne Stranda AS took over the hoppid function for Stranda municipality. That means the start-up service is now part of our work with business development, innovation and the urge to create in the municipality.
Free guidance for you who want to create something
hoppid is for you who want to start or develop your own business. Through the service you can get free start-up guidance and sparring on everything from the business idea and business model to funding, markets and the next steps.
You don't need a finished business plan before you get in touch. Maybe you just have an idea you want to explore, or a question about what it takes to get going. Then hoppid is a good place to start.
Through hoppid you can get help with things like:
- sparring on your business idea and business model
- guidance on setting up a company and finding funding
- connections to relevant professional circles, networks and expertise
- courses and start-up programmes
- the chance to apply for clarification funding
New founders can apply for up to NOK 40,000 in clarification funding. The money can be used for activities that help you find out whether and how a business idea can grow into a viable company, for example by clarifying market potential, profitability and which direction to take. A natural part of what we do
For Denne Stranda, the urge to create is also about making it easier to develop ideas, start companies and create new jobs in our villages. So having the hoppid service run by Denne Stranda fits well with the work we already do for business and community development.
Through Denne Stranda we can also connect founders with the local business community, relevant expertise and other people who can matter on the road from idea to company.
hoppid is a collaboration between Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune (the county authority), the municipalities, Innovasjon Norge and Statsforvaltaren i Møre og Romsdal (the county governor).
